Este artículo trata sobre una ley promulgada en la República de Uruguay que atenta contra la propiedad privada. Esta ley agrede al derecho de la propiedad, y va en contra de la constitución de su país (que es la forma de organización del pais), pero a pesar de ello fue aprobada. Algunos de sus artículos son considerados inconstitucionales por muchos expertos del tema. La ley 18308 del Uruguay atenta además contra el código civil (además de atentar contra la constitución e intentando privar del derecho a la propiedad por lo que la consideran anticonstitucional).
Esta legislación establece que la franja superior a 150 metros pasará a formar parte pública (especialistas lo consideran "invasión directa del derecho a la propiedad).
